2024 ICD 10 CM and PCS updates and quiz
Updates to ICD-10-PCS Codes for 2024 1. New Codes: 78 new ICD-10-PCS codes added, including five new tables in Section X (New Technology). 2. New Technology: 40 codes for new technology, e.g., ultrasound ablation of renal sympathetic nerve(s) and fusion of ankle/tarsal joints using open-truss internal fixation device. 3. Guideline Changes: - Guideline B5.2b renamed and expanded to include hand-assistance and exteriorization of body structures. - Parenthetical examples removed from guideline B6.1a. 4.
